During 2012, my wife Camilla and I agreed to sell our house in the country, and move to the city. It was vey hard for me to get used to the idea, having spend most summers of the almost 12 years we lived there, building something on the house, workshop or garden.
Luckily, we sold it pretty fast, once we set it up for sale.
Finding a new home, on the other hand, which could still house my RV building project, turned out to be much harder. We must have looked at 15-20 houses, before we found the right one. It was an old villa from 1964, completely original, with a nice big basement with room for my RV, if I joined two rooms
Unfortunately, the top floor had to be completely rebuilt, so from march to December 2013, we lived in the basement while rebuilding the top floor. We did most of he work ourselves.
After the old walls had been removed, I made an opening in the staying kitchen wall.
I closed one of the doors into our to-become tv-room, in order to have a more clean room.
Special floor boards are laid out, Knauf GF 19
