Before riveting on the Canopy skin, I had to paint it. I have decided to use the matte carbon grey, that I am also using for my engine.
A dark matte color is good for reducing reflections on the canopy from the glareshield.

After the paint had dried, I riveted on the canopy skin. The aft row of rivets (lower in this photo), are blind rivets that seets into the canopy frame tube.

The 3 outermost rivets in each side, had a gap that needed some special spacers. Good thing a have a good friend that has the tooling needed.. 😉

Here the spacers are in place.

Reinforcements also installed..

After a LOT of adjustment and finetuning, I am finally happy with the fit, and can start drilling the screw holes that will attach the canopy to the frame.
