Before installing the canopy bubble for the last time, I decided to paint the inside edge.

I also painted the inside of the canopy frame. I had traced the shape of the canopy glass onto the glareshield before removing it for the last time.

A fellow builder, Tim Jørgensen, who built a perfect Lancair, had offered to help me by showing a few tricks for applying fiberglass.
He helped me apply the first 3 layers.. Thanks a lot for you help, Tim. 🙂
