Garmin recommends adding fuses to the shunt sense wires, so I added them in the lower corner of the subpanel.

Next I routed the static line from the static ports to the ADAHRS and backup ASI and altimeter.

It was time to start making the garmin wiring. I began by making the PFD to ADAHRS cable.

With that cable installed, I couldn’t resist wiring the power for PFD, and turning it on for the first time. I still have a lot of wiring to do, but it is great to finally see it powered up. 😀

I decided to place the magnetometer on the aft deck, like Garmin recommends. I made a small mounting plate for it.
