Some of my colleages and I have spent almost 3 years rebuilding it from a fire, and now it is finally finished. Only some final paperwork and it is ready for testflight.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1268\" title=\"fouga-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/fouga-400x.jpg\" alt=\"Photo by G\u00f8rup\u00a9\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">So, back in the shop I started out on the flaps tonight. Here are the parts laid out:<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1267\" title=\"flaps-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/flaps-400x.jpg\" alt=\"flaps-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">First I deburred and polished the edges of all the ribs, spars and skins. As always I used my deburring bit first, then my diegrinder with scotch rondels. See <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/?p=314\">this post.<\/a><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1264\" title=\"flaps-01-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/flaps-01-400x.jpg\" alt=\"flaps-01-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">With all the parts ready, I clecoed the left spar and ribs together and matchdrilled them.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1265\" title=\"flaps-02-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/flaps-02-400x.jpg\" alt=\"flaps-02-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Next I clecoed on the bottom skin. It was getting late, so after I had made the 4 shims you can see to the left, I called it a night.
