First I noticed, that the plans call for\u00a0flush rivets on a part of the F-706 bulkhead.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1589\" title=\"bulkheads-094-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/bulkheads-094-400x.jpg\" alt=\"bulkheads-094-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I will just dimple the bulkhead parts for this, but the small reinforcement angle from yesterday, had to get countersunk to accept the dimples. No big deal&#8230;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1590\" title=\"bulkheads-095-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/bulkheads-095-400x.jpg\" alt=\"bulkheads-095-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Next I dug out the part for the elevator control bellcrank.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1591\" title=\"bulkheads-096-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/bulkheads-096-400x.jpg\" alt=\"bulkheads-096-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">After some matchdrilling and deburring&#8230;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1592\" title=\"bulkheads-097-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/bulkheads-097-400x.jpg\" alt=\"bulkheads-097-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">..those parts were ready too!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1593\" title=\"bulkheads-098-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/bulkheads-098-400x.jpg\" alt=\"bulkheads-098-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The bellcrank needs two small bushings too, they are made from this piece of aluminum tube.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1594\" title=\"bulkheads-099-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/bulkheads-099-400x.jpg\" alt=\"bulkheads-099-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1595\" title=\"bulkheads-100-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/bulkheads-100-400x.jpg\" alt=\"bulkheads-100-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">At the top of the aft fuselage, between bulkhead F-706 &amp; F-707 is another reinforcement rib. At the rear end goes another small piece of angle. I cut the angle to lenght, matchdrilled it to the F-707 bulkhead and deburred it all.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1596\" title=\"bulkheads-101-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/bulkheads-101-400x.jpg\" alt=\"bulkheads-101-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1597\" title=\"bulkheads-102-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/bulkheads-102-400x.jpg\" alt=\"bulkheads-102-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Then I moved on to the second aft bulkhead, the F-711 bulkhead. This is a double bulkhead, which will support both the horizontal stabilizer and the tailwheel. Therefore it needs some sturdy alu bars to reinforce it. They are made from this piece of bar.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1598\" title=\"bulkheads-103-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/bulkheads-103-400x.jpg\" alt=\"bulkheads-103-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Cut to length and tapered in the upper outboard corners. (I know, they are not laid down correctly&#8230; sorry!! )<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1599\" title=\"bulkheads-104-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/bulkheads-104-400x.jpg\" alt=\"bulkheads-104-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Matchdrilled to the bulkhead parts&#8230;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1600\" title=\"bulkheads-105-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/bulkheads-105-400x.jpg\" alt=\"bulkheads-105-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">A part of these bulkhead parts has to be trimmed away, I marked the cut lines from the reinforcement bars when I had them clecoed on. (Note the slots in the bulkheads, again Van&#8217;s lends you a helping hand for trimming. Brilliant idea!!)<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1601\" title=\"bulkheads-106-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/bulkheads-106-400x.jpg\" alt=\"bulkheads-106-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The bulkhead parts trimmed. I clecoed on the bars as guides for the final trimming.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1602\" title=\"bulkheads-107-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/bulkheads-107-400x.jpg\" alt=\"bulkheads-107-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">After trimming, I deburred all the holes and edges. Using small strips of emery cloth help deburring between the bulkhead &#8216;fingers&#8217;.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1603\" title=\"bulkheads-108-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/bulkheads-108-400x.jpg\" alt=\"bulkheads-108-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Last thing to do on this bulkhead, was to make the upper support angle. Again I cut it to length, aligned it and matchdrilled it to the bulkhead.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1604\" title=\"bulkheads-109-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/bulkheads-109-400x.jpg\" alt=\"bulkheads-109-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1605\" title=\"bulkheads-110-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/bulkheads-110-400x.jpg\" alt=\"bulkheads-110-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Here are the F-709 and F-710 bulkheads. They are 1 piece bulkheads so the only needs deburring and fluting.
