I began\u00a0by driving to work to pick up the aft fuselage parts. When I got home, I spent about 2 hours dimpling the skins.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1719\" title=\"aft-fuselage-031-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/aft-fuselage-031-400x.jpg\" alt=\"aft-fuselage-031-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1720\" title=\"aft-fuselage-032-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/aft-fuselage-032-400x.jpg\" alt=\"aft-fuselage-032-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I also remembered to drill and dimple the screw holes for the rudder wire clamps.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1721\" title=\"aft-fuselage-033-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/aft-fuselage-033-400x.jpg\" alt=\"aft-fuselage-033-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">With everything dimpled, I could start riveting the tail cone skin to the aft bulkhead. Unfortunately I had forgotten my tungsten bucking bar at work, so I had to drive there again to pick it up. Dow!!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1722\" title=\"aft-fuselage-034-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/aft-fuselage-034-400x.jpg\" alt=\"aft-fuselage-034-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">When I got back, I riveted the aft bulkhead to the tailcone skin.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1723\" title=\"aft-fuselage-035-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/aft-fuselage-035-400x.jpg\" alt=\"aft-fuselage-035-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Next I clecoed on the tailwheel\u00a0mount bracket and the F-711 bulkhead.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1724\" title=\"aft-fuselage-036-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/aft-fuselage-036-400x.jpg\" alt=\"aft-fuselage-036-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Here it is, riveted in place. The trick is to leave the tailwheel mount unbolted, till you&#8217;re done riveting the F-711 bulkhead. If you bolt it and rivet the keeper rivets, it is very hard to get to the aft rivets.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1725\" title=\"aft-fuselage-037-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/aft-fuselage-037-400x.jpg\" alt=\"aft-fuselage-037-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">With the F-711 bulkhead riveted, I bolted on the tailwheel mount and riveted it to the F-712 bulkhead.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1726\" title=\"aft-fuselage-038-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/aft-fuselage-038-400x.jpg\" alt=\"aft-fuselage-038-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Now it was time to cleco the aft fuselage together again, for the last time!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1727\" title=\"aft-fuselage-039-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/aft-fuselage-039-400x.jpg\" alt=\"aft-fuselage-039-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1728\" title=\"aft-fuselage-040-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/aft-fuselage-040-400x.jpg\" alt=\"aft-fuselage-040-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1729\" title=\"aft-fuselage-041-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/aft-fuselage-041-400x.jpg\" alt=\"aft-fuselage-041-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I even managed to rivet\u00a0the tailcone assembly to the sideskins tonight.
