{"id":1883,"date":"2009-06-09T22:00:16","date_gmt":"2009-06-09T21:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/?p=1883"},"modified":"2009-06-09T22:03:27","modified_gmt":"2009-06-09T21:03:27","slug":"riveting-center-fuselage-day-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/?p=1883","title":{"rendered":"Riveting center fuselage, day 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Although I have only managed to spend a little time now and then the past week, I got the center section ready for skin riveting, which my friend Bent and I did tonight.<br \/>\nEarlier this week I riveted the seat ribs and baggage ribs to the F-705 bulkhead.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1885\" title=\"center-fuselage-079-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/center-fuselage-079-400x.jpg\" alt=\"center-fuselage-079-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Some of the upper seat rib to F-705 rivets were a little hard to get to, so I decided to wait and rivet them until tonight where I had an extra pair of hands. I was able to use the squeezer on all other rivets.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1886\" title=\"center-fuselage-080-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/center-fuselage-080-400x.jpg\" alt=\"center-fuselage-080-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I also dimpled the skin during last week&#8230;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1884\" title=\"center-fuselage-078-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/center-fuselage-078-400x.jpg\" alt=\"center-fuselage-078-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">So, tonight we riveted the center fuselage bottom skin.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1887\" title=\"center-fuselage-081-400x\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/center-fuselage-081-400x.jpg\" alt=\"center-fuselage-081-400x\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">They all turned out perfect!! The plans wanted me to do this a while back, but I didn&#8217;t see the point.
