First I dug out the armrests&#8230;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1953\" title=\"Fuselage 034 [400x]\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/Fuselage-034-400x.jpg\" alt=\"Fuselage 034 [400x]\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">Then I smoothened the edges, fluted the skin flanges and matchdrilled them to the sideskins. Finally I deburred all the holes and set them aside. They won&#8217;t be needed again until much later in the fuselage build.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1954\" title=\"Fuselage 035 [400x]\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/Fuselage-035-400x.jpg\" alt=\"Fuselage 035 [400x]\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">Then I removed the right sideskin. To make the conical bend, the plans tell you to drill and cleco a piece of scrap alu angle to the skin. I had some trouble finding a piece of scrap angle, but I finally found a piece of angle that didn&#8217;t seem to go anywhere. It took me 3 trial fits and adjustments before I was anywhere near pleased with the result, I still think it could be better.
