First I studied other builders sites for good hints on how to bend the skin tabs. I found <a title=\"RV7factory\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rv7factory.com\/log\/050918.html\" target=\"_blank\">Brad Olivers<\/a> site especially useful for this.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Here I have marked the bend line, and applied doublesided tape to the bending block.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/elevators-059-400x300.jpg\" alt=\"elevators-059-400\u00d7300.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">The block in place and the whole thing clamped down to the table.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/elevators-060-400x300.jpg\" alt=\"elevators-060-400\u00d7300.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">First I bended the lower tab (elevator is upside down) with a piece of wood, then I finished the bend with a big mushroom-head set in the rivetgun. It was much easier than\u00a0I had anticipated.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/elevators-061-400x300.jpg\" alt=\"elevators-061-400\u00d7300.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Then I bended the upper tab the same way, and drilled holes for the poprivets that holds them together.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rv-7.dk\/wp-content\/elevators-062-400x533.jpg\" alt=\"elevators-062-400\u00d7533.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">With that all done, I could rivet the elevator together.
