I have had some days off during Christmas, most of which has been spent with family. I have managed to put in some hours in the basement as well.<\/p>\n

First thing on the list, was to trim the reinforcement angles for the subpanel cutout.

Next I matchdrilled the horizontal angles\u00a0to the subpanel…

\u00a0 ..then the vertical ones. These has to be fluted to fit the subpanel bend.

I carefully traced the mapbox position to the instrument panel, then used the Mapbox DJ (template) to drill the attach rivet holes, and the cutout corner holes.

I marked the cutout using the 4 corner holes.

..then made the cut.

Mapbox clecoed in position.

Next was to fit the mapbox door. It gets installed, so the lower edge aligns with the front of the instrument panel in open position, holding the door at 90\u00b0…
