After sanding down the next 3 layers, I needed to add another two layers in the center, to have a smooth even radius.

Layer no. 7-8 applied..

After letting those layers cure, I sanded them down too; then drill & countersank holes for support rivets.

Finally I applied another two layers across the whole fairing.

A few nights, and a lot of sanding later, I am finally finished with the fiberglass work on the canopy. The fairing still needs some filler and more sanding, but this may wait until later. Right now I’m getting ready to assemble my engine!! \ud83d\ude00
