I recieved the fuel tank sealant today, but I decided to finish the skins before building the tanks.

It hasn’t been a very productive week, I was sick in bed tuesday and wednesday, but tonight\u00a0I managed to put in a few hours.
\nI started out by matchdrilling the pitot mast to the skin, then I dimpled and countersunk the two holes that will attach the skin to the pitot mast plate.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

With that done, I finished preparing the lower outboard skins. First I removed the strips of protect\u00edon film with my soldering iron. See this post for more info..<\/a>
\nThen I deburred all the rivet holes on both sides, and the skin edges. After that I countersunk the access panel nutplate rivetholes. In the corner of the skin where it overlaps the inboard skin, I filed the skin down to create a smoother overlap where it will sit up against the tank skin.

Finally I scrubbed the skins down with scotchbrite, ready for primer..
