I finally made it back to the shop for a few hours today. It felt great! π
I started out by reinstalling the Gear Attach Webs and the F-902 Bulkheads.

The .040 shims in place…![Fuselage 094 [400x] Fuselage 094 [400x]](http://www.rv-7.dk/wp-content/Fuselage-094-400x.jpg)
Then I started fabricating the F-796B Shims, to me they look more like angles!!! π
I used the pieces that I trimmed of the fuselage longerons for this.

This is how the plans look for these…

After a lot of trimming this is what IΒ ended up with. I had to trim about 1/8″ more of them to make them fit. It seems to be a common problem that the plans are a bit off on these. Ah well, it’s to the safe side! π

Next I fabricated the F-796B and C Spacers.

I used Brad Olivers trick for holding them in place.

I thought I was supposed to fit the steel tank attach plate now, but the plans didn’t mention them in the current chapter. After reading on for a bit, I found them in the wing installation chapter. It makes sense to me waiting until then, so I can make the neccessary final adjustment. Next up is the rudder pedals. How cool is that?! π
