I got all the canopy frame parts primed Wednesday evening, so I could assemble it yesterday.

First I riveted the brackets to the side weldments.

Then the C-714 splice plate to the forward weldment.

Next I riveted the side weldment to the forward weldment.

Finally I riveted on the aft channels.

I reinstalled the canopy frame on the fuselage.

At last I rearranged the shop a bit, and picked up the rest of the finish kit. Almost ready to start working on the canopy glas.
Oh, and I just passed the 1000 hrs mark!!! 😀
