Before starting to install the interior, I decided to reinforce the armrests.
I cut two pieces of alu angle to length, drilled a hole pattern and matchdrilled them to the armrests.

Next I countersank the stiffener holes and dimpled the armrest holes.

Finally I primed the angles, along with the aft elevator push rod and aileron pushrods.

I also painted all the removable cabin panels and seat backs.
There will probably be more areas inside not covered by interior that will need paint, but putting the interior in will show.

After the paint had cured, I started putting it all back in.
First I reinstalled the flap actuator, this time for good.

I made sure to safety the rod end iaw. SB 07-4-12. The safety wire locks both the nut and the actuator piston.

Most of the panels installed…

I started by trimming the floor foam plates to fit.

Then fitted the carpet. It attaches with velcro, the fit was quite good.

I continued with the RH side panels, and tested the seats as well. They’re quite comfortable.. 😀
