I continued preparing the flap parts today. I began by clecoing on the left flap top skin.

Then I matchdrilled all the holes…

I needed to fabricate two angles, that will support the control rod backets. I cut them to lenght using my hacksaw, then polished the ends on the scotchwheel.

Next I trimmed the short flanges down to 3/4″

After some polishing and matchdrilling to the control brackets, this is what I ended up with.

The last thing I did tonight, was to assembly and matchdrill the right flap. I need to bend the flap control brackets a little over 6°, I will do that tomorrow at work.
