Long night in the shop tonight. I wanted to get all rudder parts ready for priming, but it took much longer than I expected.
First I wrapped up the finished stabilizers. I plan to store them somewhere else and save some room. I will need it when I start to build the wings.

With those out of the way, I could begin deburring the rudder parts. Thank god all the stifferners were already done. 🙂

After a couple of hours of deburring and polishing edges, I started preparing the rudder counterweight.

The counterweight need to be matchdrilled to the rudder horn lower rib. Then these mounting holes get dimpled in the rib and countersunk in the counterweight.

It turned out pretty nice, the screws are nice and flush!!

Finally I had to prepare the trailing edge stiffener. It gets countersunk from both sides.

Thats it!! Finally everything for the rudder is ready for priming! 😀
