Today was a special day too. I finished installing the flaps, which mean I am done with the wings for now. I still have to install the wing tips, but I will wait with all the fiberglass work until later.
All I needed to do today, was rivet on the right wing flap hinge part, and make the hinge pins. First I clecoed the flap in place, checked for alignment, then drilled the rest of the hinge rivet holes.
Finally I made the hinge pins, they get installed from the center of the hinges, then safetied to the flap brace.
I haven’t safetied them yet, they will need to come of again when I move the wings to storage.

After finishing the flaps, I drove to my parents house and picked up the fuselage box. It feels great to have it home and ready to start on.
