I made good progress today, finished preparing the parts for the wing rear spars.
First I had to trim the wing-to-fuselage attachment reinforcements. I marked one of the reinforcement plates according to the plans, then clecoed them all together. The clecoes couldn’t quite reach, but I used clecoes from both sides which was fine for keeping them aligned. 🙂

Then I trimmed them with my hacksaw…

Then after a lot of fine trimming with my file, they were all done.

After some edge-deburring, I clecoed them to the spars for matchdrilling.

Then it was time to prepare the aileron bracket reinforcements. First I matchdrilled them, then I traced the hole for the aileron control rod..

IÂ used a unibit to remove most of the material.

Then I finetrimmed the holes with a file, then deburred and polished and the reinforcements were ready.

After that I did the outer aileron bracket reinforcements, the outboard 4 rivets gets countersunk…

Finally I deburred everything and ran everything over with scotchbrite. Ready for primer..
