Next step in the paint process was the wings.
First I had to prepare the wing tips. The finish was pretty good from scratch, just had to spray the seams with filler and sand them smooth. We did give them a coat of sandable primer too, to make the finish perfect.

After a thorough clean and wipe, the wings and ailerons was primed and painted with white base.

After letting the base set for about 12hours, we could mask of the red and silver areas. We cut templates in vinyl foil for this.

After the silver had set for a little bit, the red was painted and then the clear coat. The result is AWESOME! 😀
