Unfortunately, the sidepanels didn’t fit perfectly at the forward ends.

It will not really be visible as it is behind the instrument panel, but to better support the panel, I decided to make extensions.

Riveting them in place, after primer.

The panel is much better supported now. Hopefully some more silver paint will make the gap look a little better.

To install the stick boots, I had to make alu attach brackets. I traced them from the seat pans.

After letting the primer cure, I added som strong double sided tape to the back of the brackets.

This allowed me to fix the boots to the brackets.

Finally I could install the stick boots on the seat pans.

Testfitting the interior, showed some places that still needed paint, like the spar caps…

The seat pans…

The top part of the F-705 bulkhead…

And the F-724 vertical baggage area ribs.

I spend the whole day out there today, preparing and painting all these areas.
