I had 2 quite productive hours tonight. First I marked the holes for the F-695 gussets-to-longeron rivets. I wasn’t able to use the rivet spacing fan after all, as the rivets were to close…

With the pilot holes drilled, I clecoed them back in place, and matchdrilled the longerons and firewall brackets to #40. I used of Boelube for drilling through the steel bracket, love that stuff! 🙂

After that, it only took a few minutes to enlarge them to #30

Finally a spent a little while finetuning the fuselage stand bracket, and welding on the turning plate.

It is not much, but I think I will go ahead and prime this batch, so I can get these riveted before putting the fuselage in the stand. Maybe tomorrow… 😀
