A date has been set to move the fuselage to the airport. It will be this Sunday.
I’m almost ready, just a few minor details to go.

I purchased som canopy guides, that will prevent the latches from hitting the aft canopy decks.
I just fixed them in position with double-sided tape, match drilled, deburred and installed them.

I installed the stainless brake hoses on the rudder pedals…

…and reinstalled the rudder pedal assembly.

After bending the flanges on the canopy lock cover, I matchdrilled it to the handle block.

Dimpled the screw holes…

Then gave it some primer and paint.

Today the paint was dry, so I could finally install the handle for good.

It works great. I added a little bit of teflon tape, to keep the handle from scratching the canopy frame.

Also rivet on the rudder stops.

The last thing I did today, was to remove the batterybox, to make room for my fuselage stand mount.
I need some short AN6 bolts, to install it. Having the fuselage back in the rotating stand, will make it much easier to paint.
